Questions about this private reference site can be sent through its contact channel. For a person’s custody, release, booking record, or court case, use the public office that holds the official record instead.

This is not a government office. It cannot confirm custody or release, retrieve a record, correct an agency file, or give legal advice. The contacts below are the appropriate official routes.

White Pine Sheriff and Jail

The White Pine County Sheriff’s Office is the local agency contact for law-enforcement routing and the county jail. The County has not published a separate roster or records-unit line, so use the general number for routing and use the Clerk’s form for a precise public-record request.

County Booking Record Requests

For an adult booking or re-booking record and any releasable booking photograph, contact the County Clerk and use the published public-record request form. Include a specific name, date range, and event or case reference when known. The form lists $0.50 per page, $5 for requester-provided media, and $10 for a County-provided DVD, with payment due before release.

Court Record Contacts

Use the court that matches the matter when the question is about a charge, docket, order, or disposition. Ely Justice Court is the lower-court search route. The District Court Clerk maintains felony and gross-misdemeanor case records and, since August 18, 2026, uses its form-and-email request workflow. Ely Municipal Court may be the right location for a City traffic or misdemeanor matter.

Other Official Systems

A person sentenced to and serving a Nevada prison sentence belongs in the NDOC offender search, not the White Pine booking path. NDOC’s Offender Management Division accepts initial record requests at omdrecords@doc.nv.gov. City-held municipal records can go to the City Clerk at 501 Mill Street, Ely, NV 89301, 775-289-2430 ext. 227, or CityClerk@cityofelynv.gov. Those routes do not replace WPCSO or County Clerk custody records.
